What dance styles do you offer?
At Sabor Latino, we bring you a full variety of Latin rhythms:
• Salsa: From beginner to advanced, including Cuban salsa, LA-style, and New York Style (On2).
• Bachata: We focus on traditional Dominican style, but also offer sensual bachata tutorials.
• Merengue: Classic Dominican merengue, from smooth traditional steps to high-energy típico with fast hip movement.
• Cuban Son: A refined, syncopated style full of classic gestures and musical flavor.
Do you offer private or group classes?
Both! Whether you want personal attention or prefer the energy of a group, we adapt to your needs. Our studios can host up to 30 people.
Do you have classes for beginners?
Absolutely! Whether it’s your first time dancing or you already have experience, we’ve got the perfect class for you.
Are the classes for kids or adults?
We welcome students from 12 years old and up it’s never too early or too late to dance.
🔹Tourism & Special Classes
Do you offer classes for tourists or one-time sessions?
Yes! We specialize in tourist packages for those looking to experience Latin dance during their stay. Choose from express 45-minute classes or sessions focused on specific styles.
Are classes in English or Spanish?
You choose! We teach in both English and Spanish — just let us know your preference.
When was the academy founded?
We opened in 2022 in Santiago, and expanded to Puerto Plata in 2025 to bring the same passion to the tourist community.

What are your class hours?
Private and group lessons are available Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Where are you located?
📍 Puerto Plata: Calle Profesor Juan Bosch, Historic Center – right next to Kaffe Restaurant.
📍 Santiago: Ulises Franco Bidó Street, 2nd floor of Edificio Modesto, next to Óptica Vralux and Centro Médico Cibao.
Can I walk in without a reservation?
No. All classes follow a set schedule, so you must book in advance via WhatsApp, Instagram, or our website
🔹 Booking & Payment
How do I book a class?
Message us on WhatsApp, Instagram, or use our website to reserve your spot.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept credit/debit cards, and PayPal.
What if I can’t attend a class I reserved?
You can reschedule with no extra charge if you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance or no-shows are non-refundable and non-transferable.
This helps us respect the instructors’ time and keep our schedule organized.
To cancel or reschedule, contact us directly by WhatsApp, phone, or email. Cancellations via social media or website will not be accepted.
If Sabor Latino cancels the class for any reason, you’ll receive a full refund or a new scheduled date.
🔹 Dress Code & Class Requirements
What should I wear to class?
Wear anything comfortable and easy to move in no need for special dancewear.
Do I need to bring a dance partner?
Not at all! You can come solo. We’ll match you with a partner during class whenever possible, depending on availability. Keep in mind that partner matching is subject to class capacity.
